Summer 2027 External Written Examinations
In 2027, external written examinations run from the week commencing Monday 10th May until Friday 18th June.
The Joint Council of Qualifications (JCQ) reserves Contingency Days in the event of national or significant local disruption to examinations in the UK. The Contingency Day for the 2027 summer series is Wednesday 23rd June 2027. Candidates should therefore remain available for examinations until the 23rd June 2027.
Morning examinations start at 9.30am and afternoon examinations start at 1.30pm unless otherwise advised.
Results day is Thursday 19th August 2027. Results can be collected from the main hall that morning.
Year 11 Mock Examinations – December 2026
Year 11 mock written examinations will run from Monday 30th November until Friday 11th December 2027.
