Summer 2026 External Written Examinations
In 2026, external written examinations run from the week commencing Monday 4th May until the week commencing Monday 15th June 2025.
The Joint Council of Qualifications (JCQ) reserves Contingency Days in the event of national or significant local disruption to examinations in the UK. The Contingency Day for the 2026 summer series is Wednesday 24th June 2026. Candidates should therefore remain available for examinations until the 24th June 2026.
Morning examinations start at 9.30am and afternoon examinations start at 1.30pm unless otherwise advised.
Results day is Thursday 20th August 2026. Results can be collected from the main hall between 10am and 12pm.
Year 10 Mock Examinations – June 2026
Year 10 mock written examinations will run from Wednesday 10th June until Thursday 25th June 2026.
