Summer 2026 External Written Examinations
In 2026, external written examinations run from the week commencing Monday 4th May until the week commencing Monday 15th June 2025.
The Joint Council of Qualifications (JCQ) reserves Contingency Days in the event of national or significant local disruption to examinations in the UK. The Contingency Day for the 2026 summer series is Wednesday 26th June 2026. Candidates should therefore remain available for examinations until the 26th June 2026.
Morning examinations start at 9.30am and afternoon examinations start at 1.30pm unless otherwise advised.
Results day is Thursday 20th August 2026.
Year 11 Mock Examinations – December 2025
Year 11 mock written examinations will run from Monday 1st December until Friday 12th December 2025.
