Summer 2025 External Written Examinations

This year, external written examinations at Newmarket Academy run from Tuesday 6th May 2025 until Wednesday 18th June 2025.

The Joint Council of Qualifications (JCQ) has reserved Contingency Days in the event of national or significant local disruption to examinations in the UK. These are Wednesday 11th June (afternoon only) and Wednesday 25th June (all day). Candidates should therefore remain available for examinations until the 25th June 2025.

Morning examinations start at 9.30am and afternoon examinations start at 1.30pm unless otherwise advised.

Results day is Thursday 21st August 2025.

Year 10 Mock Examinations – Summer 2025

Year 10 mock written examinations will run from Monday 23rd June until Friday 4th July 2025.
