Newmarket Academy Parents' Association (NAPA)
Newmarket Academy Parents Association (NAPA) was relaunched in October 2018. It is set up for one primary purpose: to allow parents/guardians to work together to provide the best possible education for their children. NAPA are looking to improve communication between the Academy and our parents, help with fundraising for the Academy and maintain the safe learning environment which the Academy provides.
NAPA currently has 14 members and has led many successful fundraising projects so far including a car boot sale, a quiz night and a table top sale. This has allowed the group to purchase many brilliant items for the students. These items have enhanced learning opportunities for students in the classroom and also given the students more opportunities for things to do at lunchtime. Items which have been purchased by NAPA include a number of benches for students to sit on at lunchtime, new table tennis tables, new table tennis equipment, footballs, basketballs and Sports Leaders jackets.
In 2019/20 NAPA has many brilliant things planned and wants to continue to grow. All of the funds raised goes straight to our fantastic students and NAPA hope to build on the success of 2018/19 in this academic year. Please contact the school if you would like to be involved or provide support.
NAPA also run a monthly raffle with cash prizes. This is a brilliant competition and all funds generated go towards our projects for the students. If you wish to participate please pick up a raffle leaflet from our reception at Newmarket Academy or email email@example.com.
